I don't think I have ever been to a place when there was such a concentration of posh totty all wearing only one scanty item of under-clothing that was clearly visible under shear and very short summer frocks.

I have no memory whatever of the boat races.

Read that as Selfridges Hammer first time. Maybe as a back up i suppose.
Have been to the Regatta and the women are something else. Many a fella ended up with Grass stains by the end of the night.
