Teaching isn't stressful in the way people think of stress, its stressful due to the long hours you spend working (ie 10-12 hour days), which means there is little to no time to unwind, relax and take time out. On asked how he (Cliff Thorburn) coped with stress he told the story of his old pool hustling days where more often than not there was colossal amounts of money at stake. He countered that although there was stress when playing snooker, it was nothing compared to playing Pool with some of the biggest gangster in Montreal.
