That way cashers in shops and banks could spot them when they handover note £50 Suzie Lamplaugh

Checked with the Bank of England, but apparently the moment you put Jimmy Kebe on a £10 note it halves its value.

I think it would be controversial if it was Dante Rossetti or Millius, given there has never been an artist on a banknote, let alone a foreigner or a woman. Wouldn't rule out a woman, but it'll be a British, likely English, person.

My point was the last bloke on a Bank of England £20 note, was Scottish and then after the fuss about Jane Austen they're bound to want to even up the numbers.
