The problem for all you atheists out there is that the birth rates of religious families by far outpaces the rate of us non religious ones.

Not for me, by the time that matters I'll be dead. Take that god.

Agree with final few words

Bigot:person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.

No evidence you have ever shown such tendencies in your voluminous (and ongoing) references to Gareth Lee

Bigoted troublemaker, Gareth Lee, targeted a bakers knowing full well that their religious convictions would put them in a difficult position regarding his silly cake slogan. He is intolerant of their 'different opinions'.

The facts have a truth of their own, none of them appears here.

Unlike you,who is in no way intolerant of someone like Gareth Lee,who holds different opinions to you.

What is the evidence that Gareth Lee deliberately "targeted" the bakery in advance knowing "full well" in advance they wouldn't take his order?

Firstly, I did not say he knew full well in advance they wouldn't take his order; he was being provocative to see how they would react.

Out of all the other bakeries he could have gone to, he just 'happened' to choose a business that is known for their religious faith.

Similar to going into a Jewish family owned bakery and asking them to bake a cake with a model of Auschwitz Concentration camp and a load of swastikas stuck on it. Presumably Judge Brownlie would enforce that too, but I expect she would find a loophole for an Islamic bakery asked to bake a cake with, say, "I hate Mohammed and his beard" on it.

Even if he did not deliberately target them, he was bigoted enough to choose to take them to court instead of tolerating their different opinion on same-sex marriage.

In fact,no evidence whatsoever to suggest he "targeted" them or knew "full well" they wouldn't take his order. No evidence he had a clue before his ordered was cancelled about their particular "extreme"religious beliefs.

No "evidence",other than your intolerance of the beliefs of the guy.

Jews and Muslims have an awful lot in common.

Along with Christians, they all worship the same god and have related Abrahamic faiths (they also share a relationship with Zorastrism to a lesser extent).

Likely as not they're 'socially evolutionary' varients of the same faith.

Agreed. And in the case of Judaism and Christianity its worth remembering that Jesus very much saw himself as a a follower of Judaism, returning people to the "true tenets" of the religion

In the present instance, astonishing is the admission (reported in the Guardian) by a father of kids at the school that women driving kids to school isn't forbidden under "Jewish law", so even more bonkers as opposed to striving to revert to ultimate "religious purity", which is bonkers enough in any religion...

You are sloppy for a legal person, I would not want you in my corner during a cake-wording controversy; I said "knowing full well that their religious convictions would put them in a difficult position", not that they would necessarily refuse the order. I am not intolerant of his beliefs at all, I am intolerant of Ashers being prosecuted for their beliefs.

I think he is probably one of those security guys who sits on the door and makes you empty the contents of your pockets onto a tray.

I tolerant Gareth Lee.....I'm suspicious of his motives and I dislike what he has done......But I tolerant him even though he himself doesn't tolerant people's religious convictions or indeed their right to refuse trade.

If he wanted to sue, it should have been under breach of contract.
