The NRA must be delighted.

Another precedent set for where their products might be used.

I wouldn't bet on it danny.

They see it as their absolute right to bear arms since 1791 when it was adopted as the second amendment to the Constitution.

They care more about their rights than innocent people getting killed!

An absurdity of the US, is an obsessive fervor over certain rights, and the desire to flagrantly abuse them (look up the photos of people who've taken assault rifles into airports and restaurants), irrespective of how it might feel to others on the 'ah Self Defense' (really, whilst having dinner).

Obviously they'll trot out the usual NRA justifications for possession of firearms etc.

The pro gun lobby will argue that if everyone in the church was armed this man wouldnt have been able to kill so many.

absolutely zero chance of their ever being a crackdown on guns in the united states.

Besides how do you ban the use of certain guns when literally millions of gun owners have AR-15's stockpiled?

All very sad but as already mentioned, unlikely to change.

Guns, fox hunting and offensive cartoons. 3 rare areas where the lefties don't bang on about rights.
