I had some "all your credit details on this PC are at risk - click here to take action" bolloxology when trying to click on a link on the FIFa rankings thread. Couldn't get rid of the dialogue box and had to close down the browser.

And more of that sort of crap and I'm offski.

I'm pretty stumped how redirects are actually happening, cos I did implement some measures to stop that.

Are the redirects you are seeing happening automatically, or is there a popup appearing which you are attempting to dismiss, and then the redirect is taking place?

I'm going to add some additional measures to stop the adverts from being able to produce popup alerts, hopefully that will help.

I have also passed on a complaint to the network we use, and they are looking into it.

I reported redirects attempts last night to the ad network and got this back:

I have tried to replicate this issue this morning but unfortunately not been able to, however the code that you sent over has been helpful and i have blocked myadserver24.com from the network along with any of the links where i can pull a direct URL from.

Continue to let me know of other redirects/popups happening - and please make sure every time you report it, what browser/operating system you are on, which will help narrow it down.

ie. Apple iphone 6 Safari
Nexus 7 Chrome
IE9 Windows 10

etc etc

A mixture.

The Flash one was a pop up followed by a redirect on Windows 7, IE9 and Chrome.

The Play store on Android are automatic redirects (Uber, Lovoo are just 2 I've noticed the titles of while pressing the f*** off (or back as some call it) button repeatedly).

Then there's the spin to win type pop ups (among others) also on Android.

At the time I posted last night it was going mental.

When you go to this website, tons of stuff loads - all intrusive no doubt. All designed to make you buy stuff no doubt - ironic as the site is controlled by anti-business lefties. Also, the back button does not work unless you click it loads of times. Why can't we have a decent website.

I bet that this is the first time either Penge or Guntri have been called that!

Anyone else (apart from becky) getting that irritating pop-up saying "Congratulations, you've won an iPhone".

For the last two days it's appeared about 20 times at least.
