I think Palace are covering the second and third choice striker options, as preferred options like Remy or Austin don't look likely. Surely Osvaldo must be 35th choice not 2nd?!

Well. On a free, I would take him. Look at some of his goals for Roma. MAVERICK

World Class player & exactly what we need up front but a ticking time bomb with team mates.

A massive risk although risk vs reward is tempting...

World class ? Don't make me laugh , he's can be very good when he wants to be , but generally he's a lazy w***er with a horrible attitude , 12 clubs in 10 years says it all. Attitude outweighs the talent as all clubs soon discover , one of the main reasons we have got to where we are is teamwork and togetherness , wouldn't want him , even if he offered to play for free.

Cantona was a liability, complete nut job. Who wouldn't want him in his pomp.

That said I pretty much agree with all your comments.

True , I think cantona was a much better player to be honest though , I mean if we can get him on a reasonable wage and get him to somehow behave ( impossible ) , he probably would be a quality signing , but it's all hope and pretty much everywhere within a short time he acts like a c*** , if he does sign I just hope we have some clauses in there and don't tie him down on a 4 year deal. All the warning signs are there though , Southampton have taken a huge hit on him , must be around 25 million mark , and it must be because no one was prepared to pay a fee for him.

This would be the signing of the season. Think chamakh but faster with better movement and can score. Ok he is a huge c**t but just put a clause in his contract. The boy will want to perform with euro 16 coming up. This makes me more excited than Cabaye.

Why would anyone chose to be a Seagull? The Eagle is a far superior creature.

The Seagull lives under it's damp pier meekly looking out, blinded by the sheer quality of the Eagle's palace.

To be fair if he tried anything like he has in the past, I could think of at least 3 players who would cave his face in and throw him out. He'd stand no chance against Jedi, but I could also see Ledley smashing him about too. And Delaney looks like he has the kind of head you could hit for hours and not get any movement out of it.

Very good player, especially if we get him on a free. If he steps out of line Pards will just nut him.

Why would you start a new thread about Osvaldo, then post something not about Osvaldo, on an Osvaldo thread? :/
