Hate to say it, but the description on the world football phone in on 5 live in the night made him sound a bit like Sanogo!!!! They didn't use the words fcuking useless exactly, but I didn't like the sound of him tbh

According to HITC:_ However, the report states that Dortmund want £16m for the striker, a price that Palace would like to reduce - and will continue to speak over a smaller price. What would Ramos offer Palace? With Yannick Bolasie and Wilfried Zaha on the flanks, Palace need a centre forward to convert chances in the middle - and Ramos could be their man. Ramos possesses a superb leap and great aerial ability for a player standing at 6ft 1in, whilst he also has enough pace to trouble defences with runs in behind. The 29-year-old has the attributes to be a complete forward, and whilst he struggled at Dortmund last season, teaming up with Bolasie and Zaha could give Palace a frightening front three under Pardew.

I can imagine that Palace would like to move the decimal place over to the left a notch to £1.6m £16m for 29 year old striker? CP has always bought players with sell on potential. No thank you

If we are signing anyone from Blackburn , it should be gestede , he has all the attributes to fit perfectly into our system , 6'4 , quick for his size , good touch , strong and is also a beast in the air , he can also play as a lone striker , Rhodes for both Blackburn and Huddersfield has been on the bench when both of them have played 1 upfront. And gestede is supposively available for 7 million compared with Rhodes 12 and huge wages, quite why we haven't made a move surprises me , as we wee interested in January , of all the players linked think he is the most suited player for us.

Admittedly not great at Dortmund but we will never be in the market for the strikers that succeed at clubs like that. Plus 30 odd caps for Columbia. Hardly Sanogo.

Seems to have a decent scoring record when playing for Berlin but paying £16 millon for a 29 year old? we should tell Dortmund to lower the asking price or the deals of.

Yes please but not for £16m. From what I have read it seems as though £16m is the asking price but a fee sub £10m is more likely.

I hope this is just a cunning plan to lower the asking price for Slimani, who Palace will be seeing in action tomorrow. He is obviously potentially a great asset to Palace, but injury prone and 29?
