They've come a long way to get as far as Calais. How is it so few of them get picked up en route?

That's right. The problem is that most of them come through southern Europe ie Italy, Greece etc and they palm them off to northern Europe and France palm them off onto us. None of the other EU countries take immigrants on the scale that we do.

To be fair, I think both Italy, Spain and Greece have a lot more than us.

They generally get the ones coming up from Africa and the middle east but a lot do find their way to Calais.

It's incredible how willing people are to surrender such fundamental rights because of Government failures.

According to some on the left we have plenty of room.

Lets not forget that a small percentage of this lot will be Islamic State sleepers.....Probably here already.

This is my concern exactly. We can't have any idea about the people who are coming here as it's absolutely uncontrolled chaos.

What about those already here?
Our own Govt cause far more ''chaos'' regardless of which colour they sport yet you're more worried about a few immigrants hitching a ride on the axle of a lorry for some reason?

The problem is that they are all camped in Calais waiting to come over, and it ain't a few either is it? What do you think this operation Stack has been about for the past few months? Before we address the issue of the ones already here we need to stop more flowing in, then once that's done they should round up the ones here and get shut, no appeals or human rights b0ll0x.

They've caused a traffic jam.
Something rarely (if ever?) associated with the Islamic State sleepers that you seem happy to label some of them.
It's an inconvenience for many, including me atm, but that is all it is.

Time to move forward together.

It actually wasn't me who labled them 'islamic state sleepers', it was another poster who I generally agreed with along the lines that we don't know who we're letting in.

Don't forget we invade and bomb these foreign countries, IS filled the vacuum during the anarchy caused by our decision to depose Sadaam.

We can't turn a blind eye to the humanitarian crisis which has our finger prints all over it

I don't know....lets think.....You're IS.....You want to attack Europe....Mmmmm...They just won't come to you.....Mmmm...how to do it?

I can't decide whether your post is just incredibly naive or that you're just looking to set world records for delusion.

IS filled the vacuum after troops were pulled out of Iraq.....That's what actually happened.....All those wimps crying and beating their chests about pulling troops out actually enabled IS to take over most of Iraq and exploit the revolution in Syria.....Again, because no one got involved against Assad killing vast numbers of civilians.

That's how you create space for extremists.

Farage was the way forward. The only one who had balls to be upfront and was castigated for it. There's always method in madness.
Anyway, no matter what happens in the political from now on, it is all so very very late.

I refuse to believe there are that many people out there that can't spell. Too f**king lazy, that's what I think.

I don't think we invaded or bombed Syria. True we did Iraq but we trained and equiped their armed forces who showed extreme cowardice. There are lots of rich nations in the middle east, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan. They should be doing more to sort the humanitarian crisis. A lot of these people want to come here because they know we have an over generous benefits system and lax borders. I don't blame them for wanting to improve their lot but we are an island, there is limited space and the current influx levels are simply not sustainable, plus we simply haven't a clue who we are letting in and I think it's fair to say-as has already been pointed out-that terrorists could easily be amongst the mass influx.

I think this is true. The damage done is more than likely irreversible by now. I liked what Nigel Farage had to say and believe he was right, of course he was monstered by the political establishment who are petrified of bringing up the topic of immigration for fear of being called racist by sanctimonious pricks of the left.

People miss the point about the troubles around third World countries. The tribal elders have every say and while they continue to have a backward attitude and hate for everything that doesn't suit them, they'll never like the Western World.

We could learn loads off them though. Whenever my Mrs gets lippy i could beat her to death.
I could sell my 10 year old Daughter to some first cousin who will marry her and immediately want to start a family.
Women accused (not even found guilty) can be stoned to death for any crime.
Thieves have hands chopped off.

I could go on and on but there'd be a chance that i could get into trouble with the Sharia Police (they are real and up and running among the Muslim community).

I've not even mentioned Africa.

Machine guns (liberal use thereof) might work.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
