And that's the blueprint for the 'Straight talking, honest politics' Corbyn has promised?

Each day, Corbyn looks more and more like a typical Westminister hack and not the messiah Momentum and their sort proclaim him to be.

Definitely the issue of actual anti-Semitism needs to be tackled in all political parties, along with racism, sectarianism, sexism, homophobia. Its absurd in all its forms.

Maybe it's a generational thing, but some of you really don't seem to realise how much support he's gaining. Dismissing him as a scruffy old man is lazy.

It's a common sense thing, nothing to do with generations!

Foot, Kinnock, Miliband, were dismissed because they looked and acted like complete bozo's.

The public has made it's mind up about Corbyn too.... and it aint good!

The Labour Party are wasting their time supporting him as no matter how bad the Tories are, most people will not support Compo... err.. I meant...Corbyn.

Not that polls matter at this stage; but that Yougov poll was conducted before the budget shambles and IDS fallout. In the report, Labour's lead was blamed on Tory Euro in fighting.

The next poll will no doubt show Labour further ahead....especially now Cameron has hung his best mate out to dry.

The Independent are just sh1t stirring.

IDS has lobbed in a grenade but it hasn't split Camerborne.

Bojo won't be invited to the next Bullingdon Club reunion though....

Two points: you insert the word 'actual' into the above, does this mean you don't view the Vicki Kirby case as 'actual' anti Semitic. Do you view it as 'high jinks'? If it was a Tory or a Kipper making similar veined tweets about Muslims, I bet you would have a different view.

Also, I agree this needs to be tackled and Mr 'honest politics' Corbyn has true ideal opportunity to squash it now within his own party. However, he seems very reluctant to do that. Why could that be?

Surely it's the public in the shape of the trade union members that voted him in as the Labour MPs certainly didn't want him

IDS (no confidence vote), Hague (a second landslide), Major (total landslide) and Howard (defeated)?

Democracy in action. I'd be concerned if I was the Conservatives, someone like Corbyn is a more of a wild card - Like Farage and the Greens, their appeal is hard to predict because they're not responding to the media and often benefit as protest votes - As much will depend on how the Tories fare in the inbetween years - Corbyn I don't think will win unless the Tories f**k up, or the SNP collapse.

The question isn't really whether Corbyn would win, but whether or not the Conservatives can deliver on promises and avoid any really serious f**k ups between now and the election.

Its like Leicester, its theirs to lose.

Actual anti-Semitism, I mean where its directed at people, rather than Israeli policy and actions. There is a nasty tendency for some to describe political criticism of Israel as anti-sematic.

You've strengthened my argument jamie.

The lame ducks you mentioned and I highlighted in red were perceived to be unelectable in the minds of the voters. Major actually demonstrated he was unfit for PM by his short disastrous term in office.

The rest of your post is just guff.

No matter what happens between now and 2020 the majority of people have made their minds up about Corbyn and he is considered unstatesmanlike (scruffy to you) untrustworthy, dangerous, a 70's throwback, black-pig shagger (Abbott), poor decision maker (Abbott again) etc etc

I'm genuinely undecided yet about which way to vote but those voting out, and who do not want Corbyn elected, would do well to heed the following, issued by an independent research company that we use who are generally spot-on in things geopolitical.

"A weakened Conservative Party – Britain’s
center-right pro-business party – would be bad
news for investors. UKIP, while right-wing on
social matters, is considerably left-wing when
it comes to fiscal and regulatory policy.
BREXIT could lead to a similarly dire outcome
for the Conservative Party. The risk is that the
British populace realizes that leaving the EU
was a sub-optimal result, and that little sovereignty
was recovered. As such, there could be a
backlash against the Tories in the next general
election. In this scenario, the winner would
not necessarily be UKIP, but rather the Jeremy
Corbyn-led Labour Party – as close to the Michael
Foot-led opposition in the early 1980s as
any Labour leadership. If the U.K.’s financial
sector has concerns regarding BREXIT, they
ought to pale in comparison to what a Corbyn
government would do to the U.K.’s “extractive”
banking industry. His words, not ours!"

Of course, for those who hate what financial services bring to the UK, this'll be a highly attractive option.

I still think my 100-1 on the next election being won by a Party that doesn't exist yet is looking better by the day.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Do you think the Vicki Kirby incident is 'actual anti semitism'?
