Horrible things.

I saw a documentary about ducks bringing up their young and the biggest danger is seagulls eating the ducklings whole.

Their population is too big and needs culling.

Herring Gulls at least are in the red book and are a protected species.

Eating ducklings whole is nature, someone of the stuff humans get up to near the sea front is god damn un-natural.

Willo - did you think before you moved to the coast that there would be wild life? They were there first.

Up here they are called "sh!tehawks". Maybe that's what we should call the weed

See if you're out at sea in a yacht they hover above the back of the boat and squark at you and try to grab anything apparently edible. And the sh!te on you at every opportunity.

I was once pursued all the way from one end to the other and back again of the harbour in Marseilles by one of these sodding things. It was about the size of, well, an eagle.

I saw the definition of mayhem once....in Brighton funny enough....whena chip-nicking gull outside the pub took a wrong turn and flew into the pub, thus embarking upon an increasingly panicked aeriel tour of the pub which saw people literally diving for cover under tables, behind the bar and fleeing the pub accompanied by the sound of squawking, flapping and breaking glass and crockery.

I think we only need to find a proper use for them.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

I specialise in bird control and netting and yes you do need a CAD no. To use an air rifle in a public place to cull birds.
But you dont need a CAD NO. to put alker seltzer in bread and feed them.
