I mentioned Hanley on another thread at the weekend would be a good signing played with Dann at Blackburn and is hard as nails.

Blackburn fans described dann as an average championship defender , and no loss!! I also remember someone posting that there mate who was a Blackburn fan didn't rate him , wasn't you was it?

He said Dann was an absolute steal at the time we signed him. I would've thought people would be interested in the opinion of someone that watches him every other week. Sorry for piping up. Prick.

Tough one, this. Bolassie was said to be pony by the Bristol City fans, I seem to recall. However, I think I'd love to have a player that the selling club's fans are really gutted to lose. And, yeah, it's useful to get the views of people that watch these players week in and week out, so thanks.

I was under the impression we were looking for a quicker , more footballing cb to partner dann , hence the links to Williams and fonte , and more recently collicini although he is slow. Hanley is as slow as dann , and a bit of an old school style centre half , I also wouldn't say he is any better than what we have although at 23 he has plenty of time to improve.
