I someone a proper lecture for cycling into the back of me on the pavement. Seemed very scared. Ever since then when I've seen them on their way to school they have gotten off their bike as soon as they've seen me.

The point is, you all make out you're billy big b*llocks sat there moaning about cyclists, but I've actually challenged one and won. And she was at least 12.

I was walking from the train to the tube at London Bridge once and this bloke, who was walking alongside his bike, wheeled it in to me at the top of the escalators as he thought having a f***ing big obstacle clearly meant he had right of way.

I then booted the bike into him to see how he liked it.

As someone who both cycles and drives to work there are c***s on boths sides of the debate.

As a cyclist it REALLY pisses me off when I wait at lights only to see another cyclist going straight through them...I'd love for them to be caught and given an on the spot fine...but until bikes have RFID chips in them its not going to happen very often.

Having said that it leaves me speechless at times the sheer lack of awareness that drivers have safe in their co**** and ignorance...I have to say it but by FAR the worse are Mothers doing the school run. Car doors flinging open without looking, overtaking you to only then park up in front of you 5secs later; pulling out on you half way because they're under some illusion that the rules of the road can be ignored if its a cyclist being inconvenienced.

As I said...both have bad examples..

I miss those 3 wheel cycles with a wicker basket on the back for putting ones shopping(or dog) in.
very practicle.

On a more serious note, there's nothing as repulsive as a fat c*** stuffed into lycra, pumping away on a mountain bike, sunglasses on & dripping lard.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

i ride everyday in central London and cyclists come in two types. The good and considerate type who consider themselves road users with rights but not "the sole right" to behave how they want. The second type is pig ignorant of how to be part of a very busy road system. Leaving the house dressed in lycra and donning a large piece of polystyrene on your head does not allow you to jump red lights, shout at pedestrians and cut up the inside of large trucks. If cyclists had to pass a test to be allowed to ride a bike then some would be less ignorant and self righteous about other road users. Add into that boris bike users who tend to be part time cyclists in london and you are mixing a cocktail of death and disaster.

I used to think that when I was riding in town on my fold up bike I was total pondlife. All the big boy bikes would look down on me and snear.

Now I have changed to a Boris bike I know I am no better than that bit of dog t*rd that you can't quite get out of the bit between your heel and soul. The bike Gods ignore me or worse, purposely cut me up and go around me at bike queues.

Funnily enough I shout alot on my way to work.

Has there been increase in such incidents resulting from the shift towards cyclists becoming untouchable over the last couple of decades or have they always been cnuts?
