standing on the terrace met another palace mate who then got into an argument with other Palace, slagging off the boys when we were 4-1 down.

Left WBA at whistle, nearly got killed on way home by mentalist Porsche driver cutting from fast lane across van to get over to junction.
Got back to Croydon late.

It might amaze people to hear it, but I'm gonna go for our 9-0 defeat against Liverpool, it's one of those 'I was there' games of which I'm quite proud because it was such a famous hammering.
I had my leg in plaster and was on crutches, so it couldn't have been much worse, but I just remember a really good atmosphere and once we were 5/6 down we were passed caring and the gallows humour and chanting was in full flow.

Losing 5-2 away to bolton in the prem in 97. Ridiculous game full of amazing goals. The Bolton fans lined the streets applauding our coaches of fans on the way back to south london.

We were both s***e, but made for a very open game with lots of goals. A friend I was staying with in Macclesfield came along for the heck of it despite not being a football fan and she had a good time...

Everyone was so friendly, it was hard to be too annoyed...

I've got another one, although it hurt afterwards, I do remember enjoying the QPR FA Cup quarter final in 1982, it was back when the FA cup meant something and to get the quarter finals was a bit special, especially as we were crap and on the decline at that time.
I went to every away game bar 2 that season, and we were lucky if we took 100 fans to most grounds spread out on massive empty terraces, so to practically have half the ground with 1000's of us packed in was a special atmosphere!!

Just a fecking shame Clive Allen had to spoil it for us and spark a riot

My first post as a new member, I hate to see Palace lose at any time but I had to stand in admiration at the defeat we suffered at the hands of Manchester City at Selhurst when their forward line boasted Summerbee, Lee, Bell managed by Joe Mercer and Malcolm Allison.
They absolutely tore us to shreds with some stunning football and only Jon Jackson kept the score down to 1-3.
