Yes there are different levels of sexism and prejudice towards women, obviously that's the case, she specialises in that sort of law, so she is hardly likely to let an innapropriate comment go. Even if it's not really a big deal. The guy is also a moron, one read of her profile and he would have known she wouldn't take the comment well, but he wasn't reading her profile, just looking at her photo. So f*ck him. She never 'called him out', she chose to send it to the rest of the world! Why do that? And why agree with it? As for the rest of your post, it makes about as much sense as many of my drunken posts. I honestly hope you weren't sober at the time. Time to move forward together.

My comments weren't serious. I genuinely think this case highlights the ridiculousness of social media rather than anything else.

However, you get to call the Japanese 'Japs' on another thread which is apparently acceptable because you do it, despite the fact it is a racial slur. How can you label people as something you perceive as negative when you yourself do likewise?

This is becoming horsesh#t. What he did was ever so slightly 'over flirty'. Yes of course he shouldn't have used those words and it is 'possibly' over the top. However, rightly or wrongly I know for s fact some of my female work colleagues would have found it a compliment or amusing. The words he used were nieve but ambiguous. What next... Friend: What the f#ck did you do?!? Girl: I called the police after I screamed at him for being a mysoginistic, degrading pig, doing some research on who he was and publicly shaming him - the cvnt!" Friend: about time too! People of opposite sexes making subtle advances to each other! Hope he dies!..." What she had done if out and outcruel. She had hung him out to dry and he did not touch her of make any advances. He may have lost his marriage, his job and his friends because of this. He may well be a lovely, faithful, caring husband and father. Equally he may be lonely and have marriage problems who knows?! He is not a criminal FFS. What she had done if out and outcruel. She had hung him out to dry and he did not touch her of make any advances. He may have lost his marriage, his job and his friends because of this. He may well be a lovely, faithful, caring husband and father. Equally he may be lonely and have marriage problems who knows?!

He is not a criminal FFS.

She has lapped up the publicity, made out she is on some world changing ground breaking mission and divided people. It is pathetic. I bet Michael Mansfield QC her head of chambers had his head in his hands. She should be ashamed. She could have embarrassed him privately not murdered his life in public.
