I slated Fury before the fight...

But you cannot take anything away from the man. I'm not having any of this "the division is sh*t" rubbish, he completely out boxed one of the greatest champions there's been in the heavyweight division.

Hats off to the guy, he boxed a perfect fight. Well done.

Fury will be like any of the previous others and avoid anyone decent but then he will lose when fighting a decent opponent.

With Fury & Vlad it all depends what's written in the contract of Fury v Vlad and if there's a rematch clause if Vlad loses, Vlad will win the rematch by going back to his earlier career tactic of getting in closer to his opponent. The division is sh1t and pedestrian slinging from the shoulder at the chin and not an art form whatsoever. But it makes them very rich so they are not stupid.

If you follow boxing you will know fury is probably one of the most honest fighters out there, has already said he will only fight names that can generate big money, eg povetkin, joshua, wilder has said he thinks luis ortiz is one of the most dangerous heavyweights out there and no chance he will fight him as not a big money fight and too dangerous, wether you like fury or not, you've got to say fair play to him.

Didn't see him winning and didn't particularly want him to but I must admit as the fight went on I started cheering for him and justice was definitely done. He's a t*** but at least he's entertaining and with Wilder, Joshua and Haye all potential opponents the division suddenly has had some life breathed back into it.

I disagree Rudi,Fury doesn't duck any opponent he's been arfter klitschko for 5 years.

if there is a rematch Klitschko will be even more older than he is now and as for getting closer to a man who has an 86" reach it will be very very tough indeed for Klitschko or any one else to get close to him.

proud of tyson, Klitschko is a decent man and has been a good champion but age caught up with him last night fighting a man 12 years younger.

I'm not going to claim I know much about Tyson Fury because I know little about him tbh. Don't really bother with heavyweight boxing. We'll just see how virtuous he is once the offer of easy fights and purses are dangling in front of him, or if he's just as hypocritical as all the others.

Heard David Haye talking on the radio yesterday about not having beaten anyone up for 3 years after having beaten people up his whole life going from martial arts as a kid to boxing at 11 or something. Made me laugh.

I never saw that coming and I've been following/taking part in the noble art for a number of years. I slaited Fury before the fight and gave him no chance at all, so it's only right I come on here and eat some humble pie as I was clearly wrong.

Fury Surprised me, I havent watched the fight yet as I am indisposed with work at present (and bloody will be until Sunday) but from what I have read Fury was a well deserved winner, clearly from the Photo's (him not a mark, Klitschko cut and bruised) Fury's Jab has improved massivley and is now a formidable weapon.

I was right about a couple of things though, he doesnt have the knock out power of some heaveyweights i.e. Joshua and Haye, nor is he as mobile as either of those two.

I still think that any rematch between the two would result in a very very different fight, but I was wrong once so I'm probably wrong again.

Well done fury. (your still an irratating Pikey, world champion or not).

I'd like to revise my thoughts after seeing the weigh-in.
Klitschko looks in awesome shape.

Fury will be well beaten

Well, that's me put in my place.

Fury did a fantastic job. Let's hope it wasn't the 'fight of his career', like Buster Douglas, or frank Bruno.

It's also good that he can now tell Haye to go and do one.
And Haye is going for the 'Yorkshire Ripper' look with the hair and beard.

have to agree with that, I didn't give Fury a chance either.

On a side note, good to see DeGale win at the weekend too

we'll see. If the money is right (and I'd thought it would be sizeable due to public interest in seeing it) he will fight. Fury is also prone to getting sucked in by Haye's sh1t-talking.
