The reports (absent from the Guardian, Channel 4 and tucked away by the BBC of course) literally say they walked around free and untouchable.

How many times does this have to happen before white liberals realise? But then - when you're ignorant, you're always ignorant.

According to the Lantern Project,which supports victims of sexual abuse (as of 2012)and based on NSPPC research:

Nearly a quarter of young adults experienced sexual abuse during childhood.

17,727 sexual crimes against children under 16 were recorded in England and Wales in 2010/11.

What happened in Rotherham (including the two women "pimping" out young girls,is plainly sick, and awful that it wasn't stopped.

The above figures indicate the sickness is pervasive within society more generally (though not receiving uniform press hysteria)and it is demeaning to the victims for people to exploit the sickness to make questionable imputations about "immigrants" and "those of different nationality".

Similarly,police corruption and indifference at times in certain environments (The Met in early 70's?) is always something to be stamped on hard,but hardly uniquely limited to Rotherham or investigating "people of a certain nationality"

We have heard it all before.

Quoting figures is a bit pointless in these debates because people ignore the ones they don't like.

It is a fact that there is a disproportionate amount of Asians in prison for sexual crimes but this does not mean that all Asians are rapists.
It does however suggest that certain nationalities have an issue that needs addressing.
It is obvious that if a minority are involved in such emotive crimes it will cause unrest within the majority and anyone who is surprised by that is very naive.
Let's just remember the key point of all this. These crimes were allowed to continue unchecked in multiple towns because the authorities were afraid of being branded racist.
Liberal pant wetters need to realise that their brand pf hysteria is every bit as bonkers as rabid bigotry.

Agree, those who could do something but ignored it are culpable and should be tried.
