Was wondering if any of you are roofers of have had your roof re tiled recently. I was wondering how much it costs. I live in a 3 bed end of terrace in sunny addington

I would have said about £4-5k and this seems to back that up: [Link]

I only skim read that article btw. No doubt a few roofers will correct or confirm.

Plane's in the right region...now the height of trade for roofers is slowing with the on set of Winter you may get a deal. £5-6k is about average

Your old tiles may be worth something to a salvage yard too.

We were quoted £7k for our roof four years ago though it is a bit bigger than the average one I think.

Tap into Google and you'll find good rough figures from real tradesmen.

And when bored with xhamster look at roofers websites.

Thanks for the info. Didn't want tiring any builders as I didn't want to be hassled into having the work done straight away. I'll have a browse of the new videos on xhamster before I think about the roof again

I always thought you were a few tiles short of a roof Kermit.

Hi,
Anyone know how much to have a 1 Ridge tile renewed and 2 loose one re cemented? They are three quarters of the way up the roof.

Cheers

Not much if it can be done without scaffold. The tile is a few quid and it wouldn't take a roofer long to do that.

Optimistic as ever

I refuse to believe there are that many people out there that can't spell. Too f**king lazy, that's what I think.
