Rare Sirloin (cooked in a ridged grill pan or griddle to give diamond grill marks), chunky chips (made from Maris Piper and twice deep fried) served with fried tomato and mustard. 'Last Meal' is a common chefs' game, especially after a few beers, and nearly everyone chooses something simple. Quelle moutarde? Wholegrain, Dijon, English, Welsh?

You've been an absolute sh*tbag and have been on Death Row for eighteen years. It's your execution day, what would you gorge on before getting injected? I like a nice roast lamb dinner, all the trimmings, thick gravy & yorkies.

I was tempted to say it would depend how I was being executed - you'd want a meal cooked on gas if you were scheduled for such a chamber, and an electric cooker would be more apt for those getting a shock treatment from the same source, but there are few meals which are exclusive to either device, if I was being burnt at the stake however I would request barbecue chicken, hanging would suit neck of lamb, game for firing squad, preferably pheasant, I'm not sure what I'd like to have if I was getting a lethal injection, bananas maybe, they have a lot of potassium apparently, as does cyanide.

Or do you mean which posh chef would we like to put on death row.
