They only ever had a couple of songs that I liked. I couldn't stand to watch a whole concert.

... and of his solo stuff Corpses In Their Mouths was a tune. Loved the harmonica bit.

Worth going for this one song alone

That clip epitomises Stone Roses, the backbeat of Reni's perfectly timed drumming, coupled with Mani's driving bass, over layed with Squire's licks and intricate guitar work and then Browny's vocal, albeit not the most powerful, but altogether amazing! Thank you Mr. Shave. My fav [Link] Ollie's Dad,Ash

F.E.A.R. is a great track too, and has one of the best ever videos IMO !

The can't sing accusation is a bit ridiculous.

You can argue alot of band's front men cannot sing. Liam Gallagher is a notable example. They are not polished crooners who would do a duet with Aretha Franklin. But they do have distinctive iconic voices which compliment the bands style and sets them apart. You wouldn't swap him for anyone else - it wouldn't work, if you put Michael Buble in it would sound awful

Ian Brown's voice? Graham Coxon summed it up quite nicely when he said that "the show isn't over until the flat laddie sings".
