Ah, I've been looking at one of these for a couple of weeks now [Link] But I assume this thread relates to a DIY version, which sounds much cheaper???

Learn how to install the repository's yourself as well as updating repos as pre load boxes don't really offer much support. As I have said before find a M8 box with keyboard and mouse (you WILL need this) around �45 even a pre loaded one as you can wipe them to factory settings anyway and start again.

Just buy the box and load it on yourself it really ain't that hard and even cheaper then buying a bloated box pre loaded.
Learn how to install the repository's yourself as well as updating repos as pre load boxes don't really offer much support.
As I have said before find a M8 box with keyboard and mouse (you WILL need this) around �45 even a pre loaded one as you can wipe them to factory settings anyway and start again.

Confused as to whether all units are Chinese made, or there are Chinese copies on the market which are a bit duff. Definitely think the DIY approach is better than an expensive, bloated box

Confused as to whether all units are Chinese made, or there are Chinese copies on the market which are a bit duff. Definitely think the DIY approach is better than an expensive, bloated box
