You could equally credit one celled sea creatures. Today's music might have evolved from any number of places. Just because Africans have music and we all descended from Africans does not mean that contemporary music originated wholly or partly from Black people. That is presumption without any proof. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (05 Nov 2015 9.10pm) True, but Jazz, Gospel, Soul, Rock N Roll, Rock, Funk, Blues etc were largely pioneered by black musicians, and then influenced white musicians, who were open minded and it inspired massive change in music and society. But the people who profited from the success of black musicians where largely white.

I couldn't name any of the 'artists' at the MOBO's and think that most modern 'music' is a racket. For example, Adele to me a portly poor mans Belinda Carlisle and most modern rappers aren't fit to give Eazy his AIDS medicine or light ODB's crack pipe. Am I becoming middle aged?
Would you be having late 80s desk spaff's all weekend? I think he'd be alone now.
