I've heard he is a hard working striker who is a very good finisher.

Yes, this one certainly could be legit.

Millwall supporting mate messaged me today saying a 4 Million pound deal for O'brien could be on the cards which is crazy money if you ask me! The source being O'Brien's dad apparently at Milwalls game yesterday.

Is on low wages in comparison to the likes of Steve Morrison and Lee Gregory and is not too happy about it apparently.

Was league One player of the month for October and seems to be highly rated by the knuckle draggers.

Has absolutely no experience beyond L1 and almost all of that is this season. He is getting a reasonable return at that level, but £4m? I'd rather try bringing through one of our own from the development squad than take a chance on another lower league striker. Oh, and he's a couple of inches shorter than Gayle, which seems to be important to quite a few on here.

Never heard of the guy but we're not paying £4m for a league 1 player. May be after loads of adds are met it'll be near £4m but not up front.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

Neither did Jamie Vardy.

Vardy played two years in the Championship before Leicester were promoted to the PL, he was 25 when he was signed by Leicester for £1m, didn't have a great first season and he isn't the same height as Barry Bannan (which many seem to consider important). Even he didn't have a particularly successful first season in the PL, despite having a successful Championship season prior to promotion and being an established team member. Personally I wouldn't want to spend £4m on an untested, L1 21 year old who's spent his whole career at Millwall.

That is what Premier League clubs do now. If our scouting network believe he is good enough (I've no idea if he is or not) then I won't argue with it. As always, it's about trusting what's right for the club (player and finances) and CPFC2010 normally get it right.

Personally, taking another of Scumwall's finest from them always suits me.

Yeah but he'd have 6 against Liverpool's defence

Although he totals six league goals plus two in cup games giving him eight for the season.

Remember that Murray; Gayle; Wickham and Campbell have a total of ZERO between them in the league.
