Turkey do have a lot to answer for, particularly in their aggressive position against the Kurds, who are one of the major forces preventing IS from spreading further into Northern Syria and Iraq. But few nations have more to fear from IS than Turkey, given that IS follow a prophetic line which explicitly mentions retaking Istanbul.

The Kurds and Turkey is actually a classic example of this: although both are nominally secular, each is predominantly Muslim, and yet rather than all singing from the same hymn sheet as Hoof seems to think they do, they are engaged in a war which goes back almost a hundred years.

Seen the footage on liveleak, the Russians were executed whilst slowly parachuting to the ground which is a war crime in itself. I am almost certain the Russian fighter was in Turkish airspace as the Russians have a long history of Pissing around like this, the execution of the two pilots absolutely guarantees Russia will retaliate.
