If Villa get relegated, who do we want?

As I have said in other threads I would like us to get some young cover for Zaha and Bolaisie. Someone who could train with them, see what they do and the freedom they have to express themselves and buy into that ethos. Remember Traore being very impressive when he came on for them against us and he made a good run and cross for Villa to score yesterday. Think he should be considered. Look no further than our own junior players ,Villas are crap He aint a Villa junior, he's a Barcelona one. I do love our academy but I'd stick my neck out and say Barca's is better.

Correct. The appraisal of him by Souness at HT on Sunday was excellent. Who's he? What's he done? How many games has he changed? Who even speaks to him in the dressing room? etc etc. Totally agree with this and was about to mention Souness' comments myself. Now there's a man who's achieved something in football and knows what it takes basically saying "I wouldn't touch the little prat with yours." And he's right. Grealish is just another media creation; thus far all fart and very little s***. It made me laugh but I couldn't disagree with any of it. I'd add Sherwood to that media creation too, he was telling all and sundry that the sun shone out of his arse and he was worth £50m+ I don't trust any player who is 'premiership born' - A loan spell for Notts County doesn't count. As a rule, I think actually playing for a club in the championship or leagues (or even non-Leagues) builds character. They talk about showing promise as a great potential. F**k him, he's 20 years old and made 30 odd appearances. Clyne had 122, mostly starts, at the age of 21 and no one was ranting on about his talent at Sky every week. He's 24 and has made 236 appearances. That's a professional young player. Not some kid with a 10k haircut and some swagger.

Why do people start threads like this? teams get relegated because there players are s***e esp A.V I think sometimes you can find a gem or two in a relegated team, when its a tight relegation battle. But in Villa's case I think most of them would be poor signings to sell the programmes. Sometimes a team isn't good enough, but Villa's team probably need lick proofed windows. Adama Traore was the one who ran the entire half and forced their equaliser against us. Other than that he's made a few sub appearances, could be a decent impact sub. Glealish would be a tough one, bags of talent but questions about his professionalism.
A yeart ago I wanted him even though I was told he would ever come to a club like Palace. Shows why I am not a football manager, his mojo has gone. I think Grealish has potential, made some mistakes but the same accusation was aimed at Wilf.

Your the one who described him as a Villa Junior. Villa got him from Barca for 7 mill at the start of this season. So yes was a Barca junior who is now at Villa.

Gil, Veretout, Grealish, and Ayew, all look like they might be able to do well at a better club. No one is going to look good in that Villa side, unless they are a workaholic midfield anchor man or shotstopper.
