Crystal Palace are leading the way in the chase for 24-year-old Juventus striker Simone Zaza, who is also wanted by Watford and Norwich.(Sun)

I do find these rumours strange. According to Wiki Juventus only re-signed him for 18m euros this year and he is also a current Italian international. So, Norwich, Watford and Palace. Really?

If we can also get Saha then I look forward to a commentary going Zaha, Zaza, Saha, Zaza, Zaha

Any neutral tuning in will think they've connected to a foreign commentary.

Not that strange, he's third in the pecking order there. And Palace area looking to get him on loan (allegedly).

Presumably to replace Bamford as he'll be leaving.

Not strange at all. Juve can't give him game time and probably think experience with a good quality Premier League side for six months will do a lot more for him long-term than sitting on their bench or playing in their reserves. Much as Chelsea thought with Bamford, the point being he needs to be a lot better than Bamford for this to be worthwhile. I don't know enough about him to have an opinion. But easy to see it happening.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

Reminds me of the constant Pato rumours. Last summer it was us, now it's mid and low mid-table sides like Chelsea and Man U linked, yet no-one ever actually puts a bid in. I think they probably have agents doing what agents do.

I know it's not really reliable but from clips i've seen of the lad he looks different class. Strong, fast and powerful hit - similar to Diego Costa. Juve beat Spurs to signing him so i think IF we did pull this off he has the potential to be different gravy and help push us towards top 6. However i think Watford will snap him up, purely because of Italian connections and they've been linked with him for quite a while.

Dont let Cabaye go

He's not a c*** but is powerful, fast and has a strong shot. At Sassulo he thrived and that was with a consistent run of games, which Juve can't give him. Have a little look on youtube, it will excite you but dont forget that doesnt show his weak points
