Looking at the team:

GK: Hennessey/ McCarthy Sell: Speroni
RB Ward/Kelly
CB Delaney/ Hangeland
CB Dann/ ? Need back up Sell: Mariappa
LB Souaré/ Need back up Sell: Fryers

CM Cabaye/ Jedinak
CM McArthur/ Ledley

RW Zaha/ Lee Chung-yong
LW Bolasie/ Sako

CAM Puncheon/Mutch

ST Wickham/ Chamakh (End loan deal Bamford) (Keep as back up or sell Campbell) (Sell Gayle, I like him but he dosen’t fit into the way we play)

Look at getting in another big ST incase of injuries.

Don't entirely agree.

Why would you sell Speroni? Unless he asks to go elsewhere, why not keep him at the club? He's an invaluable squad member, is probably transitioning to a coaching role, is great to have around our young keepers and would have little value in the transfer market at his age. Additionally, with a local business I'd be surprised if he wanted to leave.

Why would you sell Mariappa now? Agreed by the start of next season we do need a third quality centre back to push on but Mariappa is perfectly good cover behind Delaney, Dann and Hangeland for the time being on top of which he can also cover full back. It'd be hard to improve on him for his present role (utility 4th defender) and his presence also means we don't have to replace Fryers as with Mariappa and Kelly, we have at least adequate cover across the back line.

The only place I would even consider improving in January is striker and even then, only if we can get a proven commodity. In a perfect world, I would upgrade Gayle and Campbell and let Bamford go back to Chelsea. It just hasn't worked out for him. In their place I would bring Anderson into the squad (if fit) and try to sign a quality striker to challenge Wickham. That, for me, is the only signing we really need. If we could do that and retain the players we have now, I'd be well happy.

Isn't Anderson under 21 and therefore technically available already? Assuming you mean Keshi.

EDIT: Just realised you might be referencing a recall from loan.

I think depending on availability we may see a few new faces
McCarthy will be made available for Loan as he is our number 3 keeper at present.
I think we will buy a CB and Marriapa will be sold
We may look at a LB to push Souare , Fryers needs game time so I think will be loaned out
In CM I think the upsetting change will happen Jedinak will go and will be replaced by a CM who can pass.
Amongst strikers the loan of Bamford will end possibly with Remy coming on loan instead. Gayle will be sold and possibly Campbell. So I can see at least 2 strikers coming 1 on loan possibly Remy.

Get rid of Campbell
I would keep Gayle
Possibly get another forward

Depending on injuries, unless a no brainier of a player becomes available I'd largely stick with what we have bar losing a coule of surplus to requirement players.

I would sell Gayle because it looks like Norwich is willing to pay a ridiculous amount for him. I also would buy a CB. We need that CB to be tall so that we'll stay efficient in set pieces hence that's why we're looking at Niedermeier. I'm not saying that he's the one and I have no beef with the 3 main CB's we have. I'm just saying we need more help in that position. Also I'm thinking that we need another Striker to help us score more than we currently are. I'd prefer him to be really fast so that it would make us more of a threat up front when needed.

Obviously all based on the assumption teams actually want these players but for me, for this point in season...realistically you wont have a huge amount of ins and outs but for me...

Perm Outs: Campbell / Bamford / Fryers / Hunt

Given our shortage upfront, for now - keep Dwight Gayle and sign one more CF (either on loan or perm) so we would have Wickham / Gayle / AN Other / Chammers / Bolassie (as a last resort)

I'd keep Marriappa and Jedi for cover purposes but could see both going in the Summer.

I would like to see Jules moved into a coaching capacity - the club is a better place with him in it rather than out.

In the summer then as a minimum we need a proper cover for Soaure and we need to think about a younger centre half - Damo and Brede cant go on forever - even if arguably Damo has played the best football of his career after the age of 30.

Why get rid of Hunt? He seems to have been well thought of wherever he has gone on loan and he is currently on a season's loan to Sheffield Wednesday where he is playing alongside Barry Bannan.

If he is as good as the reports suggest we should keep him as cover for Ward which means that we wouldn't miss Marriappa if he moves on.

At the very least he should be played in pre season games so that we can see what he can do

these 3.
I'm a Gayle fan but for reasonable money etc.
Mainly Campbell to go though.

Our chances of using him are slim to nothing, Kelly is currently the preferred FB back up of choice and he has bags of PL experience - Hunt has none- If we have a plan with him all well and good but it doesn't seem we have. He got rave reviews at Forest last season and we promptly loaned him straight out for the season rather than look at him for the 25

Its a shame he picked up his injury when he did so we have no ability to judge whether he can play at this level or not but given we know Kelly is more than adequate cover and likely to be first choice given his versatility, we don't need another RB clogging up a space

I'd look at offloading Gayle, Campbell, Mutch and Friers. I'd end Bamford's loan, too.

Priorities this window should be a striker (especially if we sell Gayle and Campbell) and a proper number 10. Don't know if we can stretch to Suarez and Pogba yet?

Personally, a proper number 10 is more important than another striker, and I've been saying that for months.

Any other positions, barring injuries, can wait for the summer.
