How can you measure population increases when you have no control over how many EU citizens can be let in?

It's like running a nightclub with no door staff or not issuing them with counting devices - pretty soon the club gets over crowded and very uncomfortable for everyone.

Have you not realised we are a small island (already building on flood plain) compared to Germany, France and Spain.... we cannot be expected to allow unfettered immigration - the geography must tell you that?

Our already heavily strained infrastructure is creaking.

Building houses doesn't solve any problems... hospitals, schools, GP surgeries, New Roads, Car Parks, Etc also need building to service these homes.

Voting to stay in an EU referendum is not an option.

Probably doesn't work but then neither does paying people to have more kids, or giving fat people cars.

Not that I don't feel for people who are having stuff taken away, and not that it isn't as a result of the government's actions but maybe if people weren't sympathetic by default towards anyone who is worse off then them and scathing of anyone with more money then those in need might get the attention. If we could all hate the lazy then we wouldn't need to have programmes about people on the dole with 17 kids and we could all plead for someone with a disability to be given enough money to cover their care.
