Why would SP go against what he has said "only want players to improve the squad" No chance!!

Like Lambert, this bloke could be useful for half a season. He may be lacking in confidence, but this can alter. People very often under estimate the ability of the Palace coaching team to get players up to scratch. Of all the things about Palace, this stands out for me.

The coaching team haven't been able to get Campbell or Mutch up to scratch, then again I don't think they can perform miracles.

No thanks to Agbonlahor - so so far past his best (which wasn't that good imo).

Not sure there are many on this site who still hold this view. JM is coming on quite nicely as a squad player.

On the OP, I could not agree with you more. No in every aspect of that word.

No thanks. Way past his prime now.

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!"

I agree.

Mutch is improving.

Getting better every game with some intelligence showing.

Not that quick for a big man with those long legs. Bit of a baby giraffe about him sometimes!

Nevertheless he is getting better.

No longer a proper footballer.

Been sad watching his meteoric decline in last few years.

This. Agbonlahor now is simply embarrassing.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

Would be so so disappointed if this is the kind of player we would now be considering signing. Would most certainly be a huge step backwards

Curly eagles dad, 45 years of Palace. Never ever a dull moment, Oh Happy Days
