The beauty of the modern media:

1. Supporters speculate on HOL.
2. Journalists read HOL.
3. Journalists publish speculation they've read on HOL.
4. Someone on HOL posts HOL-sourced story on HOL.
5. HOL'ers read same story again, believing it's more credible because it's been published by a journalist.
6. Same debate ensues, but it's now become a factual rumour rather than speculation (because a journalist has read it on HOL and published it.)

Madness.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

Ultimately it's just twist on cat-returns-to-own-vomit journalism I guess.

I must confess I am a transfer news addict. I thought the article is quite a good summary of where things (rumour wise!) are at the moment!

Nothing new but a good summary of (rumoured) striker options

A very interesting list.

I have seen some who are out of favour at their current clubs - and need game time to progress (play for their countries this summer. Alan Pardew has Johan Cabeye as an example of the benefits of playing for Palace. The list has examples in all areas - we have defender and striker weakness, but who knows, a young winger could be enticed to Palace, to learn from Yannick and Wilfred.

I am looking forward to seeing Mr Pardew in action.

The fact that whoever wrote this article put Gayle's lack of appearances this season down to "the form of Connor Wickham" shows he/she really doesn't know what he/she is talking about.

I would like us to go for Berahino and or Townsend tbh. Both would fit to our way of playing. Both right age both got bags of talent and neither would blow our budget.

Did Not someone on this site make up something completely ludicrous and it was published?

Being reported that Leicester have had a bid for Demarai Gray accepted

A real shame if this is true as I really saw this guy as a great understudy to Bolasie and Zaha, wanted him at the start of the season. Can't help but think that he could train up with Wilf and Yanick learn their ways a bit and then if we did lose Yannick he could step in. Has real potential.

Leicester activated his 3.7 mill release clause, at that price a real bargain, could we hijack this?
