According to The Mirror Norwich want £15m.. Surely worth it at that price? Then they can buy Gayle for £10m... He can play no.10 too,
Could alternate with Bolasie

15 Million? No way is he worth that, anywhere over 10 and it's way too much. I do love Redmond and think he is quality, but no point in paying over the odds for him.

I honestly think we missed a trick in not going for him when Norwich signed him. Think we have missed out on Gray who has gone to Leicester for just 3.7 mill. I'm in favor have posted before that we should sign a young Zaha/Bolaisie style player sooner rather than later so he can train with the learn off them (I believe WZ and YB have learnt off each other). Not only will it give us cover for injuries but might soften the blow if we have a ready made replacement if any of the big offers for Yannick materialise

Without doubt. Should of done a double deal with Curtis Davies as well. Then again Ollie might not of fallen on his sword if he had done deals like this and we might not be where we are today.

We definitely missed a trick. Even at the time it seemed a no brainer so it's not as if he came from obscurity. Instead we signed Jerome Thomas and Jimmy Kebe who probably cost way more and barely played. On a similar note, I don't know why we've not even considered the Birmingham winger who's just gone to Leicester

Swap deal with Gayle going the other way hasn't materialised, but doesn't say it is dead. Mind you it originates from the Mirror.

Its dead!!!!!>

Why not swop Gayle for Redmond?

A few of us commented on that at the time as we hadn't been linked with him at all and he went for a comparative snip due to Birmingham's financial problems

Judging by the fee for Demarai Gray they are still giving away their best players.

The fee of 3.7 for Gray triggered a release clause in his contract so once met nothing Brum could do about it.

And Jack butland. All three cost roughly £10m/£11m

Blimey forgot about him. Must be pretty demoralising for the fans.

They live in Birmingham. I'm sure they could handle this sort of disappointment!

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.
