Grabban for £7m ?!!?

So many fail to reach the standard hoped, so getting 3 in is spreading the risk, rather than assuming your first choice is nailed on to settle in. As mentioned, staying up is worth 17 mill (plus Iturbe). I learnt these facts during Holloway's 'Scattergun' Period. There's a mental image And it's not a very nice one. Sydenham by birth. Have to say if Palace spent 20m on those two, I wouldn't really be that impressed. Not convinced either will be a big hit in the premiership. May be proved wrong though, but seems a lot of money.

Couldn't agree more. Except in a very few cases, we've always left our business til the end of the window. I have just been speaking to my friend at the club who is involved in transfer activity.He talked about the "Early Bird....." scenario and also commented about probably putting other clubs noses out of joint !
As for Afobe he says he has seen him play since he was 14.
