Faceparty was pretty good until they restricted it to teenagers. Used to be heaving with open-gashed 40 something bitches.

Which begs the question where are they now ?

Under a patio probably. That's what the internet is for.

Patios and decking, forensic counter-measures that can increase your property value.

Fred West must be minted.

Gave the term 'Go West my son' a nasty punch line.

I think they knocked his house down after the conviction. Ironically it was paved over to become a public walkway.

I know this is a massive digression from the original post, but I don't really care. If you haven't seen the dramatisation of Fred West's arrest called "Appropriate Adult" then I recommend it. I guess it might sound a bit odd to say I have read a lot of books about serial killers but on that basis I can confirm that this two part drama was pretty accurate. Not gory or gruesome really as it focused on the post-arrest events, but very interesting. If you're into serial killers that is.

Get's the thumbs up from me.

I would also recommend See No Evil and Longford (both about the Moors Murders). I was disappointed with Peter: Portrait of a Serial Killer (Peter Sutcliffe) - we're overdue a decent one on him.

I love my serial killers I did my English oral exam on Dennis Nielsen

Quite an old film but the Ted Bundy film is quite good. That said, my only points of reference on Bundy are Wikipedia and this film so I can't comment on its authenticity. A lot of critics seemed to pull it apart because at the end the actress playing his girlfriend almost turns to camera and says something really trite along the lines of "And all this time I had no idea what he was really like". It made me laugh out loud because I knew it was coming, but it hardly ruined the film!

With your head in his lap, perhaps?

He'd definitely like that.

The FBI have some excellent case studies of serial killers that have been published in kindle format.

I got the biography of Rose West for £1 in Poundland.

Poundland is a surprisingly good source of books about seriously f*cked up individuals.

If you ever want to re-read it down the line a letter opener will do the job.

Hahaha. My girlfriend's mum looks a bit like Rose West, so I have that to look forward to.

My friend worked as a prison guard at Rose West's prison. His take on her was 'just what you'd expect, ugly and a c**t'.

Which is odd, because a different friend worked at Broadmoor as a psychiatric nurse, and reckoned that most of the patients were disturbingly nice (or as she put it 'too nice to be trusted').

I spent some time once getting drunk with a Psychiatrist from Broadmoor, who said the same thing. That her patients were 95% of the time the nicest people you'd ever meet. Its just if you meet them in that other 5% they'd stab you in the eyes and rape the sockets just to see what it felt like.

True. They always seem to have a few Delia Smiths on offer.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
