A goalkeeper and striker required but Jules must be given a chance as he has rescued us on so many occasions.
I just get the feeling that whoever we play we're not going to score, so the striker is of paramount importance as we are dropping too many points while we are waiting. Otherwise it's going to be a season of two halves!

If this happens I will really start to worry about Pardews state of mind!

The last thing we need is another keeper. I do have some concern around Pardews dealings in the transfer market! Living off the Cabye signing for me as for the others the jury is still out!

Agree with you, in that if this one goes through as suggested it leaves me baffled. But, a bit harsh on Pardew's signings. I'm very happy with the signing of Soure for example.

Given Pardew's comments about only wanting a striker, my assumption is that we're planning to play Green up front. If we can't sign a proper forward, he'll probably be better than Campbell or Gayle.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

He only signed cabye in the summer... considering the fairly limited amount he's spent what do people expect ?

Still I'd agree now isn't really necessary to worry about the GK postion but I doubt there's any truth in this.

We need to get behind Hennesey and let him get his confidence back or all out keepers confidence will be shot if we keep switching selling and what not everytime one of them has a couple bad games.

We need a striker or to try two up front with what we've got. An attacking midfielder and a Center half. I'd honestly like to see us try two upfront with one behind them that's a bit more creative. And no I don't mean instead of cabye

Sky are reporting that QPR are in talks and signing the Wycombe gk so I think we may end up with green unfortunately.

Green not included in their squad for tomorrow either. Looks like there might actually be some substance to this, but why oh why another keeper!

If green makes one more appearance for QPR he is entitled to contract extension.Thats why he's not in squad and won't play for them again.

Qpr have signed the Wycombe keeper and he's not in the squad. Yes they left him out so he doesn't trigger an extension. But with Sky going crazy over him coming to us I think it'll happen now.

As far as keepers go, for the most part the more experienced the better. So if Green came in and McCarthy left on loan, then it wouldn't be a bad thing.

Hasslebank says Alex McCarthy is already at QPR and its up to Matt Ingram to challenge him for no1 keeper spot? Have I read this quote right?

No, Hasselbaink said Alex. The McCarthy bit was added by whomever wrote the tweet. It is more likely to be Alex Smithies who actually players for QPR.

I would guess that as with so much so called journalism, the person who wrote this did not bother to check their information. Of course, I could be wrong.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.
