Sorry, went off on a bit of a tangent with my post. What I was trying to say is that LSD is a crazy drug. Anyone who has taken it will tell stories of being totally out of control. Having said that it is still my favourite drug experience (although not for many years now)

Quite a fan of myself. I love psychedelics like Shrooms and LSD, always have done. Although I've never really been totally out of control on them either, they seem to always have appealed to my mind set and psychology. Now amphetamines, different story massive problem drug for me....

Yep, wouldn't say a problem for me (probably was, but ain't gonna admit it!)was an ever present drug during my 20's.
Have been drug free for over 5 years now. Was sort of "encouraged" by my girlfriend who's partner killed himself due to bipolar condition not helped by a large weed consumption.

Thing is, bi-polar disorder is inherited on a genetic basis, and the environmental factors of cause aren't related to drug use. What tends to be the case is that bi-polar sufferers are likely to turn to assorted drugs as a form of self medication for their symptoms.

His father killed himself about 10 years ago, I am friendly with his two brothers who both have the disorder. One of his brothers, by his own admission is just about coping, his other brother was a live on the streets alcoholic, who has now managed to kick the booze and is happily married.
I'm sure you know a lot more about the psychological affects of LSD, but I was talking about the short term affects, I've had friends do all sorts of crazy things on LSD, and, I think, more worrying the legal shrooms available in Amsterdam. Combining shrooms and trams is a recipe for disaster.

I don't think me or my friends really did anything that crazy or stupid when on LSD. We tended more towards being 'Tim Leary' than 'Prankster'. Going for walks in town, country and moors was about as dangerous as it got.

I did cross a rail track once, at 6 am, which is about as crazy or as dangerous as it got.

Certainly never did any of the stupid stuff I did drunk with my mates.
