Historically, the issues with the Union have been jealousy or Empiralism at its worst depending on your view: AND.....perhaps now due to Tory policy since '79 - political division. I was thinking would the White Dragon (or Wyvern) save the union? Would totally differentiating England from the vestiges Union actually help the Union survive. Rather than a pussy sounding hymen compared to France, Germany or Russia why not a decent heritage flag? As far as I know it has not been "owned" by the swivel eyes. Perhaps a flag is facetious, but I believe that we all know we are better together than apart but if people wish to celebrate differences perhaps a more federal government system may have a chance? What I am saying is that the English can have a separate identity using existing ancient historical precepts, rather than quasi Victorian religious icons like Jerusalem that Hoofy, Troll and Boy Butter love to Nescafe shake over.
