I love the savages new album , yelping siouxsie style vocals with razor sharp guitars .

Sleaford mods , minimal beat box and sinewy bass backing over shouty sweary rap/vocal

the new order album is brilliant , back to their synth pop best with great tunes and a bit of moroder disco .

fat white family album has a couple of brilliant kraut rock motorik tracks but I got a bit tired of the samey swamp blues out of tune guitar tracks

suede album has some epic tracks and much better than the first come back album

last shadow puppets new single is good , cant wait for the album

young London band telegram , indie 4 piece but not the usual landfill style

Cheers for the tip. I've ignored it as it's classed as Greatest hits (and I've got all of their, errm, both of their albums) but it seems it's not quite that. Star is one of my favourite albums of all time

Belly are announcing some gigs soon...

Nice I'm on that! If you remember, would you mind dropping me a PM when you see it announced? I'm bound to miss it.

"Humble Pie - 30 days in the hole"

Stevie Marriott on lead vocals and Peter Frampton on lead guitar.

Their live album "Performance Rockin' the Fillmore is one of the best live albums I've ever heard... I'm convinced they are all off their t1ts on smack but keep it tight.

be warned, my whole life I've been told my music taste is rubbish by friends, family, girlfriends... but I can't stop listening to this one and highly recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of rock.

Not only is that uniquely ghastly but I had to put up with a 20 second advert for sanitary towels beforehand.

You're a monster.

Laughing out loud. This is the mother of awful music disasters. Dread to think what else Matt has in his record collection? (Spagna's Gt Hits, p'haps???)

You must also be a "Maiden" fan?

Nothing that can't be fixed in the studio afterward.

Still spouting opinions about music/guitarists ability but not able to give examples on the "Guitar Heroes" thread when invited to do so I see?
