Why not take the ginormous pay day and beat him then?

Because he won't win, and he knows it. Brook will clap him silly.

Ohh and as for Khan Alverez. If the glass jawed one gets tagged by a natural middleweight it's night night time.

Khan wont have the power to keep Alvarez at bay and will get walked down in the middle rounds, Alvarez isn't quick but does cut the ring off well and Khan's chin isn't the best.

Khan will just be hoping he can do what Mayweather did and kill him with speed.

I think that's pretty much spot on...he'll "Mayweather" him

I don't agree. They're a decent match up I reckon.

He knows he can fall back on it if he loses, but if he wins against Alvarez he will be able to pick and choose his fights on both sides of the pond.

Smart move by khan, mega money fight, huge ppv numbers, the biggest date in the boxing calendar, massive underdog who will have the weight excuse if he looses and won't do too much harm to his career. If he wins he will drop back down and have massive pull in negotiations with Brook/thurman ect, mayweather has already laid the blueprint not that khan is anywhere near as intelligent or composed in the ring but let's be fair his the most exciting fighter to watch, never ducked anyone, and if there's one boxer you would give up your hard earned money to watch then it should be him. Still alvarez should win no problem.

Alvarez what a cop out, hand picks a smaller opponent not exactly renowned for being able to take a punch, but is a big name. Would be perfect timing to have a unification fight with golovkin but nope even tho he holds a middleweight title his constantly boxing at a catch weight.

This is the problem with boxing now, not only are there too many belts at too many weights but now pretty much every big fight is at a catch weight because someone needs an unfair advantage. No one wants to unify the divisions apart from the true greats like golovkin, ward, rigondeuox, who all get avoided. Just full of mandatory defences or big fights at a catch weight therefore one already has an advantage and one has an excuse.

why would he fight Brook at the moment? Brook has fought nobody. how can he be ducking him if he's now fighting one of the p4p best fighters. oh and glass chin, watch the fight with Maidana. Khans last 4 fights have been Alvarez, Algieri, Devon Alexander and luis Collazo whilst brooks are Kevin Bizier, Frankie Gavin, Jo Jo Dan and Shawn Porter.

I'm a huge Kell brook fan for the record have been for a few years but some of these Khan haters are laughable.

These Khan fans ignoring his lack of consistant punch resistantance is laughable.

Anyone, and I mean anyone he has fought with a decent right cross has put him on his arse.

Going up that much in weight will leave him under powered and Alverez will walk through Khans punches. Alverez has 31 KO's in a 40 odd fight career, his last beating Coetto on points was a very very convincing win, basically Alverez beat Cotto the f*** up, and you think Khan will give him a good fight/win.

Not a fookin chance mate.

I don't think anyone has said they think he'll beat Alvarez, just that it's a smart move in terms of earnings and status.

He can fight Brook after, he's not going anywhere. He's been begging Khan for a showdown for years, in a similar way to Witter did with Hatton.

Wouldn't say I'm a Khan fan, I like him because he is entertaining and British. He has so many haters though it makes me laugh. Again how is he ducking Kell Brook when he's fighting a p4p best fighter in Canello? you've said it yourself he's going to get destroyed. I think he gets stopped under 6 rounds, however if it goes the full 12 I think he wins on UD. Again I agree he has a lack of punch resistance Stevie Wonder can see that but that doesn't mean he has a glass jaw in my opinion. What does the cotto fight have to do with this fight? Cotto was taylor made for Canello, khan's a bad match up.
