I think France, Wales (with very little confidence just patriotic fervor) and England to win today.

New coach will boost England and France. Ireland and Wales always contenders for the title. Scotland playing well recently. Most open Six Nations for ages!

I think a new look England will finally do the business and take the title.

I thought England did well after about 60 minutes and deserved the win.

It was the high jinx in the showers afterwards that I found most disturbing.

It wasn't pretty at all but we ground it out and deserved the win. Billy Vunipola was superb.

Enjoyed this weekends games

France v Italy was a corker and Italy will be kicking themselves. They could and should have won it.

Well done the Frenchies though for blooding new faces.

Calcutta Cup was its usual blood and thunder over technique and flair. I can see why Jones went with the team he did - he needs to build momentum and the win was everything. Scotland should be well disappointed with themselves. All that WC optimism blown away in 80 minutes where England controlled most of the game.

Ireland v Wales, the proverbial tale of two halves. The usual explosion from Ireland gives them a 13-0 lead, they run out of steam and the Taffs come back with a more controlled and structured game plan. The tackling in this one was brutal.

On this first weekends evidence its anyone from Ireland / England / France and Wales with the Jocks and Italians fighting over that wooden spoon again.
