Now there's the biggest modern con of all - just get a tv with an optical output socket, buy a cheap lead and run it through your stereo system. We get the most amazing sound that way!

wouldn't work Becky.
(the stereo's in the kitchen, not the lounge )
just got soundbar in the lounge & play mp3s via that on USB or Bluetooth.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

98inch OLED TV is the way to go. The price tag of £24K put me off though!!

There's a bloke down my road who walks round in a Tesco's carrier bag. Turns out he is a brighton faggot.

My problem is with these smart TVs which listen to you. Soon, with the "internet of things", Orwell's idea of Big Brother will seem like very small beer indeed.

I've just managed the electrical fit-out at LGs new headquarters in Weybridge and some of the TVs they have in their showroom are unbelievable, the best of which are the ones that you can watch from either side!

Other girls may try to take me away,
But you know, it's by your side I will stay

Just bought a 49" Sony Bravia 4K UHD TV. With Android, which means Kodi runs as an app on the Tele. It is the bollocks.

Most certainly not European.
