Would be a superb appointment if they pull that off.

I can see him keeping them up and if not, it will be Pardew’s fault anyway.

I think Benitez is a good manager but he builds his teams around solid sound defensive units! Where is he going to get that from without a window to spend because they certainly don't already have those types of players! They've got 10 games to stay up which I think they'll do but they won't finish above Palace and neither will Villa Norwich or Sunderland!

Could be very bad news for us.

Worked well for us last time. I don't think they'll find someone who can make the difference up in points. It'll only be bad news for us, if we go to the end of the season without getting four points or more.

In which case it won't matter if they employed a tub of lard, because we'd go down instead of them, Norwich or Sunderland.

10 games, a win and a draw is the minimum requirement for us. Fail to do that and we should go down.

Being reported on Sky Sports that Rafa is mulling over a 3 year offer with Mcclaren to be sacked.

Not the news we need, we need that clueless plonker to stay till the end of the season

My sources are saying pretty much the same thing.

Not really, we need to get 4-7 points from 10 games. It won't matter who the managers are in the relegation team zone, at least one of them will get 34 or more points by the end of the season.

Different to my sources regarding the situation at Newcastle. !

Doesn't really matter does it ?

I have consistently stated that a change of manager at Newcastle could spell real danger for us.

Not sure I agree, or rather I don't agree if they have in fact gone for Rafa. I don't see Rafa as being the man to get them out of this situation. They would have been better appointing Pearson until the end of the season with a big fat survival bonus and then taking stock. If they still wanted Rafa he would get a preseason and the opportunity to rebuild the team.
