Somehow I don't think it'll be a phenomena linked solely to Scotland. Although some of the names are quite nice, if unusual, others simply suggest impending fate as strippers, hookers or a life in and out of care.

There is something equally dull about naming kids Jack, John or Emily etc as well.

A proper chav girl told me that she was calling her child "Rogan" the other day. I really wanted to say "most people opt for the 'Josh' part when perusing the Indian Takeaway menu for baby name ideas" but managed to hold myself back.

I wouldn't necessarily blame her for her stupidity. You could have equally called the papa dumb.

 


It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

I like the name Loki and might consider that to be honest.

Probably setting yourself up for having a right little git though!
