He won't get much game time wen chef is back fit, I think he is too good to sit on the bench so we sud go for him. He looks like a great shot stopper better then what we have

The point I am making is that people are making suggestions for keepers based on 90 mins of TV when the players concerned are no better than we already have. Al Habsai on Friday and now Ospina.

Ospina has had many a mare

He's also had a very high level career and played regularly for one of the best national teams out there.

An answer to our goalkeeping problems:

Just need to teach him to stand up...

Id like to see Ospina as a palace keeper he could be the next speroni plus he has good it in him to be a good goal keeper just needs more game time..

Having watched him a ton out here, he is an unbelievably good shot stopper - example: [Link]

He does frustrate me with his tendency to punch when a catch would seem routine, and can put unnecessary pressure on his defence that way, but he seems to be improving in that regard, has been commanding in the last couple of qualifiers, and to say he is not better than what we have is simply ridiculous.

Also, his reputation for dropping clangers is based off that one disaster he had for Arsenal in the Champions' League; I've not seen him make many errors in all the other games I've seen him play.

Either way, it's pretty academic cos he would never come to us - he could easily get a move to another Champions' League club if he wanted out.
