As the away team it wasn't too bad for Sunderland and they stopped Newcastle getting all three.

They now have three games of the next four at home to WBA, Leicester and Arsenal with an away match at Norwich after the first two.

To be honest it is that time of year when it 'does your head in' trying to work out who are likely to go down apart from Villa.

Find out what team is in which division, eg which division is Coppull United in?

I reckon Owen Garvan will join Villa in the championship.

FFS any neutral looking at this will fancy us to stay up and any of of Naaarch, Newcastle and Sunderland to go down. Our squad will find the strength to see it through. It's the weak fans who stay quiet at games who will not.

Lose against Norwich and things may well need readdressing asap.

I think it will be Newcastle. The 'new manager' bounce has simply not manifested all that much, and they were lucky to get a draw with Sunderland. They were better against Leicester, but still undone.

As the final spot its a race now between Norwich and Sunderland, and the next two or three games for Norwich will decide it.

I think he could probably get into their side now. But so could probably Nicky Carle and John Oster (though he's more inclined towards Sunderland).

Alan Shearer is convinced we only need one win from our remaining games to stay up, bless him, whereas he feels his beloved Newcastle are in great danger together with Sunderland or Norwich to go down with Villa.

Question : where will our win come from and exactly why are we in this diabolical mess in the first place ?

definitely not us but we are doing a great audition for it .

villa , sunderland and Norwich for me . I look at newcastles squad and how much they have spent and find it incredible the position they are in but realise what a shiiite defence they have .
I`ll take mitrovic in a heartbeat if they do

I think we need four points to really be sure, especially if we take those points from Norwich and Newcastle. Problem we'll have is that goal difference will rapidly diminish if we keep on as we have been in the league.

I believe 36 pts will be enough for us to survive.

IF we lose at home to Norwich on the back of a defeat at W.Ham, HOL could well be in meltdown and Pardew's walk from dug-out to the dressing room at the end of the game will be "Greeted" with hostility and a crescendo of boos.
