Wow..... that meltdown from Spieth on the 12th hole was reminiscent of Jan Van de Velde's crazy 18th hole antics in the 1999 Open at Carnoustie!

Up till then he was hitting greens in regulation and putting beautifully. He really was the architect of his own downfall.

Anyways... it made for a much more exciting finish, and I'm really pleased for Danny Willett who's had a hell of a good week!
