I went with touch and go racers when I had the same task a couple of months ago. Same toy but different models and easy enough to use that the older one won't beat the younger one every time.

The dad has said since that it was a winner. Oh and they're almost indestructible, which these two definitely require as an option.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.
