The fact that you can get 1.5 years for framing people, faking reports, planting evidence and stealing as a police officer is the amazing shock for me. Surely that's more serious that the actual offence of the crimes he fitted people up for. Surely that's about as serious a crime as a police officer can commit. I wouldn't be able to forgive them, there would be an astonishingly brutal accident in that café.

cops have quotas to fill for drug arrests in a lot of jurisdictions. but this is small potatoes here. cops choked out the guy in NYC right on the street. nothing happened. over cigarettes.
