Anyone ever gone this way?
Marylebone to Wembley Central on Chiltern Railway.
This is near to Baker Street so wondering if it was a viable alternative having never tried it.

Is it mayhem like the tube? Also coming out at Wembley Central is it kind of wrong end of the ground this time maybe?

Thoughts.

Used this method for the Championship Play Off Final. Perfectly usable - and at that time not too popular. Please allow enough time to get to Victoria 9as engineering works are taking place, and to walk to the ground. looking forward to leaving Wembley happy. COYP

Please do your own checks for safety, but currently showing as 9 minutes - 00:13 & 00:46, without engineering taking place.

Chiltern Railways don't stop at Wembley Central. They do run to Wembley Stadium station, though.

The station is just a couple of minutes from the West end of the Stadium.

After the game it does get crowded, but they are well organised and you'd end up in one of three or four separate queues.

I have often used Chiltern Railways to get to Wembley, parking at Gerrards Cross and getting the Marylebone train. The queues afterwards do look daunting, but, as I said, they are organised and I was back in my car an hour after the final whistle.

Cheers guys.

Yes I meant Wembley Stadium station, so many Wembley stations so little concentration

I heard about the E Works, but I'm going on the High Speed, via Strood from the Medway Valley (which suprisingly isn't a bus service this weekend)

Might go back via the tube with the masses as the Met goes direct to Kings X / STP

I left this way after a Rugby World Cup game, and got straight into the station without issue. A lot quicker the Wembley Central.

Def the best and most civilised way to get to and from the ground, especially after the game as the crush at Wembley Central Tube Station is awful and as Watford fans will be headed in that direction as well double awful.

We will come up from Beaconsfield but will go up to Marylebone for the atmosphere at The Globe and then go back to Wembley! Can also drink on the Chiltern Line unlike the tube!

Other girls may try to take me away,
But you know, it's by your side I will stay
