It looks like Palace could be quite interested in Blackburn Centre Backs Shane Duffy and Grant Hanley. This could be a big bonus for Palace because Delaney is getting a bit too old now and does not have much left(Although he's a great player)But Duffy an Hanley are strong and they have a lot to offer at the back of the team. Also, Dann's partner at Blackburn was Grant Hanley so them 2 would have good chemistry. Let me know what you think of the 2 centre backs?

Regards Duffy, I have seen him play for Blackburn and also on 'Loan' at Yeovil where he partnered Byron Webster (Now Millwall) in central defence. He is very tall and good in the air and is dangerous in the opponents box at set-pieces due to his heading prowess.Very strong in the tackle as well and is right-footed.Gary Bowyer signed him for Blackburn and he is young, only in his early 20s.

I've not seen a massive amount of Duffy but I've not been impressed by Hanley. His lack of mobility continually causes problems for him in the Championship. Not sure he has the quality to step up. If we are actually interested then I'd be happy to be proved wrong.

God I hate when people say oh alli and vardy prove there's quality in the lower league. Well yes but a few players from how many clubs ? With how many players in each team. Leicester are built to play to vardy and alli is quality as it seems but it's still his first big season. So I'm not saying there's not quality just those two are special cases and we can't jump on any player half rated because it's the in thing to do. There is just as much quality in France how many players has wenger pulled from no where ? And Germany is ridiculously full of players.

I'd rather Niklas sule from hoffenheim Only 20 and is 6ft5 played a good few games over 60 in a high league and has been getting good reviews. Edited by Reynolds1986 (23 Apr 2016 9.16am)
