Very true and if kloppy rates him plus he's Germany u21 why should we not ? There signing matip from shalke and said he may keep toure they have young joe Gomez and skrtle and sahko and louvren.

So where do you fit sule ? Maybe we should go for skrtle he's been in the bench a lot. He's what 30 ? Still lots to give.

There has been a lot of emphasis recently about grappling at corners. When defending corners, Skrtel gets obsessed with the man he is marking and sometimes doesn't pick up the flight of the ball. He has been a grappler and tugger of shirts at corners all his career !

He does like to over power I see what you mean. But there's not one CB in the prem that don't do it. But he's a leader and a great last ditch tackler

I'm not saying there's not quality just those two are special cases and we can't jump on any player half rated because it's the in thing to do.

Bolasie and Delaney were both unwanted players from lower Championship clubs and both have served us well in the Premiership

I'm aware and they both have. But no one talks of Delaney as they do alli or vardy. My point is now everyone seems to think oh let's buy anyone from the lower leagues it's cheap but it won't be if everyone does it. Plus it's really rare to find something very special that no one else has with all the scouting ect now.

Let's not forget Charlie Austin, a former brick layer who played for 'Poole Town' and Chris Smalling who was at 'Maidstone Utd'.

Yes both of them have something special. Austin has that knack of being in the right place. Smelling his ability to sound like Michael Jackson when he talks. No but height power and speed plus being coached by fergie and van gaal can't hurt. Vardy has his pace and work rate. And alli has great touch and can see the game.

There are quite a few non-league players in focus at the present time. For example Kane Smith of Hitchin Town, Will Spetch of Poole, Luke Thomas of Cheltenham and Sam Finley of AFC Fylde.

And of course Sunderland's Duncan Watmore was signed from Altrincham.

Grant Hanley not mobile enough for premiership football however Duffy I like and would be a decent signing.

Why? The last centre half that we bought from Blackburn didn't turn out too bad and Dele Alli has proved that there are gems to be had in the lower divisions.

That's correct and it's how we have operated in the past. We bring players in from the lower leagues who do a job for us and we turn them into Prem standard players. Some people forget we got Ian Wright from Greenwich Borough.

Leicester are built to play to vardy and alli is quality as it seems but it's still his first big season. So I'm not saying there's not quality just those two are special cases and we can't jump on any player half rated because it's the in thing to do. There is just as much quality in France how many players has wenger pulled from no where ? And Germany is ridiculously full of players.
As for the Blackburn players yes we have 3 ageing centre backs, lose hangeland and paddy ? And get in some young hungry players sounds good to me

Yes I agree pleople like to generalise it's the same as saying said player is no good because the team he was playing for got relegated, it doesn't make any sense you cannot apply logic to this and have to look at the player in question.

IH: "I thought Jonny and Wilf were brilliant but it took a 39 year old master to watch the ball and keep his eye on it to finish it".
